The mittens are nice and comfortable. I decided to microwave 2 liners of 1 glove for 1 minute 30 seconds. They come out pretty warm/hot. The heat leaves quite quickly and transitions into a mild heat that lasts for a surprisingly long time. I wish there was a way to keep them hotter for an extended period of time without resorting to an outlet or using a consumable chemical reaction. I can buy some of these chemical heat packs to put in when I need longer sessions. Having to take out the inserts to reheat them in the microwave is the most annoying part as you often have to do this. But I don't think they could use such a nice soft material if the whole glove was microwavable.
