Using Framework Open Source Software Architecture (FOSSA)
I like the possibility of creating customized plugins that fit to our needs.The fact that we have the possibility to share our code with the community and all the benefits it brings. I dislike the fact that we have to use a different language to interact with the library. I think that using a single language for all our projects would be more flexible. I also don't like the fact that in some cases it is difficult to understand how to use the library. The main benefit of using FOSSA is the possibility of creating plugins that fit to our needs.
Pros

- Versatile API (can do anything, from simple actions up till complex algorithms)
- Interoperability between libraries within your own project good documentation easy installation/configuration process
- excellent support team!
Cons
- It requires Java 8+; this might not always work well if you are working towards old
