Second Review Updated: Over time, the blink rate will become similar to the original. Either that or the fact that I placed different strands on the other side of the house makes them less visible. Laying two threads is much easier, but does not affect the product in any way. I've upped the rating again because I've realized it's such a minor discrepancy, but I can't tell the difference anymore. I really like this product! First Review Updated: I contacted Roger's Products Inc website and exchanged some emails with the owner. He explained that it is the same product and made in the same factory. The discrepancy between single and double strings is because Revain requires a UL label on the strings but cannot get UL labels for 36 foot strings. So when you start a new one, they work fine. If you have an older version with two strings of lights I would buy them from the website when they become available. Upgraded from 1 star to 3 because they aren't fake, but not 5 stars because I think they blink at different speeds. (Original review) I think these are fakes of the original Blinks. This version is a single strand that is 72 feet long. True blinkies consist of two 36-foot strands. In addition, the flashing time is faster than the original blinkies.
