I have a protective glass on my Switch so when I'm on the go I just need something that protects the analog sticks and takes up as little space as possible. All my games are on the SD card and I use a brickless USB-C cable for power so I don't need cartridge or power supply cases. I have tried several cases and this one was the winner. It's very thin, I don't have to take it out of the case and look for a place on the plane to attach the case, and the case works better than the switch stand for desktop mode. At $25 it seems a little pricey. for what you get and I will let you know if there are any issues with the strap but at least my poles are protected now. would update the rating. This remains the only one that can be used as a stand. I love that others let you remove the cover, but after using it for a while I've really changed the way I used the switch for the better. I have this thing on my Switch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except when it's docked. All my other grips and more are in a drawer now. Now when playing prone, I just place the switch on my chest with this as a stand (a switch stand could never do that), remove the joysticks and hold them. close to my sides. This fixes my hands falling asleep after holding them over my heart for 30 minutes to see the switch. When I'm in the car waiting area, I do the same thing, but I use a cover to hold the switch on the steering wheel. I'm a tall guy and I found on planes it was easier to put this on a dining table or iPad holder in a bag/stand and keep my arms down than trying to use the armrests to to hold the switch to my face and poke into people. I may have found a use for it as a sun visor, but I think we all know that the switch sucks in the sun/light a bit, even with a visor. Cons: I will say that the "level of protection" of this case is quite low. I only dropped it once and the switch popped out, but it was fine. You really can't have a super thin AND super secure one, but I wish it was held a little tighter. There may not be a magnet on the case to keep it closed. Of course "does something" but you get everything you need, just because of the strength of the hinge it doesn't open by itself. I was concerned that the loop would loosen over time, but I haven't had that yet. Finally, some people were concerned that the hinge might scratch their switch, but the seller says never touch it. It's hard to see, but from the outside it looks like it should be true, but it's REALLY close. Near the body of the switch, not the screen (I have a screen protector there anyway). Too close for my comfort so I just sealed the rivets with a piece of tape to be sure. So far there are no problems. Tape Note: If you have loose joysticks, apply a piece of tape (or 2/3 if needed) to the underside of the rail from the side of the joystick rail switch housing. It's wonderful when it seems to be a whole. Update 6 months and two weeks: Of course, a few weeks after I reported how great it was, the loop suddenly loosened. Now it doesn't stay on my steering wheel and barely stays on the table. Downgraded from 4 stars to 2. Would rise to 5 if it continued to be difficult.
