Our foster pup was struggling with extreme separation anxiety after being abandoned and left to life in the streets. We ordered this pillow after trying a crate mat, a pile of fluffy blankets and pilows, etc, none of which could soothe 24/7 anxiety and panic. The all-around support & soft fluffy (almost feathery texture) of this pillow was like dog nip -- she snuggled right in as soon as we introduced it, and chilled out pretty quickly thereafter. Her separation anxiety has improved markedly - when she's on the cuddler, she's fine being alone and the time she can be alone without panicking is increasing every day (we even leave her to run errands now, one week later). She also sleeps like a baby at night. Best money we ever spent -- getting our cutie comfortable and easing her emotional stress!
