Why Sodium Chloride ?

I bought this scalp scrub based on the positive reviews. After I used it my scalp was dry and itchy. I followed with my regular shampoo than I realized my hair felt brittle. I looked up the ingredients. I am very disappointed to see the Sodium Chloride is the first ingredient. Sodium chloride is a table salt, thickening agent, no benefits whatsoever. It is known as an irritant. Why would this company formulate this product with such an ingredient, and the hefty price tag?! Such a shame, I am returning it.

Awesome at exfoliating the scalp! It feels so fresh and clean afterwards! I have been using this for a month now and have noticed my hair is growing faster and thicker than before!! Love it! Def going to keep this in my healthy hair routine!
