The elastic lace is perfect for my 7 month old daughter's head and the bow size is HUGE. I feel like the bow size is more appropriate, maybe a 2 year old or so, but then the strap doesn't fit. Also, the sequins weren't very tight, and I found little bits of them everywhere. Not the safest for babies in that regard. 2 stars because it's cute but I can't use it and don't know if I can use it next year or the year after. 😒
