I really like these PJ pants. I ordered the medium size in 3 different colors and they are all basically the same (one fits slightly smaller than the other two but that is to be expected for a mass produced garment). The product photos are accurate in both color and style. The length may differ from the photo depending on your height. I'm 1.60m tall, wear size 6-8 pants and carry my weight on my back. After washing and drying (warm water, drying on low heat) they were the perfect length for me (almost touching the floor with bare feet). They could have been roomier in the back as the seam in the back feels a little too tight until I put them on for a while (they seem to stretch a bit), although there is enough fabric for the actual seat. reasonably spacious. They are basically cut the same front and back, and the stature is quite low. I would say that these pants are on the skinny fit (US sizing). The wide belt is very comfortable. The drawstring is functional (meaning you can use it to tighten your waist) which I don't need as the elastic fits me perfectly. Another reviewer said they were prickly. I don't understand at all. Of course I've washed and dried mine before putting them on (using a towel to dry like I always do) and they're fine. This is a woven fabric, not as soft as flannel or jersey, but cool, fresh, breathable cotton. Not too thin and not too thick. I think they will hold up well. On one pair, part of the side seam was not sewn perfectly by about half an inch, so I'll probably have to correct that part to close it. If it wasn't for that and a "tight" back seam, I would give this 5 stars.
