I'm 5'3", 163 lbs. I'm a curvy girl with a big top and thick hips, so I struggle to find jackets that don't like me. A round drop with no defined waist or make it look too tight. in the chest area. This one is great. For reference, I usually wear a size plus in Michael Kors or Calvin Klein branded jackets. - If I wear a sweater or a heavy shirt, the fit is snug, but still comfortable, and a bit loose with regular shirts. For this brand I ordered MEDIUM and it fits just like the large one I have with other brands. Love this jacket! The small waist is flattering. The hood is oversized but not at all extreme. It's warm, cozy, comfy, great for winter weather which is usually around 20F. Not very stretchy. I have a 34 DDD and thick thighs. just me (big boobs + fluff chige jacket = fluffy) but .i can bend down and move my arms and body without any problems. If you have a wide waist or square frame, you should choose one size larger. Comes its own ziplock bag
