First impressions are excellent

The picture quality of this monitor is very impressive. As a filmmaker and pixel specialist, my main concern was to find a reference monitor that would faithfully reproduce the image from the camera without breaking the budget. So if this describes you, look no further. The included mount, battery and HDMI cable got me up and running in seconds with my Sony A7III computer. While a 5.7-inch monitor might seem like overkill compared to a mirrorless DSLR, it's actually the optimal size. I no longer looked at the camera's built-in display except to change the setting, which was unexpected as I've always questioned the need for an external monitor for a camera setup until now. The Sony A7III's built-in display is quite small and doesn't hide pixels well when you approach it to form a frame. On the other hand, the Feelworld F6 has no visible pixels no matter how close you get to it. Everything looks crisp and precise as it should be. The only complaint I have is that when you connect the battery to the monitor and turn it off, the power indicator turns from blue to red instead of blue to off. If stored for a long time with the battery connected, this little indicator will eventually drain your battery to zero. So keep that in mind. My second complaint is that you've never squeezed or folded a display before and seen it change color. Due to the pressure on this monitor, the tip where the edge of the plastic makes contact with the display suffers a bit. Instead of being black, it has a white cast due to the edge of the case pressing on it. But it's completely unnoticeable in normal use, only very subtle when it glows black while waiting for an input signal.
