Imitation leather isn't bad. Trouble is, if you're buying this to modify or replace the spikes, you'll quickly find that they're all aluminum to the best of my knowledge. With a slight turn of the screwdriver, they are immediately torn off. So DO NOT BUY if you want to replace the cleats with other cleats or larger cleats or whatever, you can't do this without drilling them out. At this point, it's cheaper to just buy a leather strap.
