Review on ๐Ÿฑ PEEKAB Reversible Cat Scratcher Cardboard | Corrugated Cat Scratching Pad with Catnip | Durable Kitty Scratching Bed by Caroline Jackson

Sturdy, cute, slim

My kitty loves to scratch on our stairs. He started scratching the carpet on the stairs, although he didn't touch the rest of the carpet and furniture. He loves cardboard scrapers, so I looked for slim ones that you can buy cheaply in multipacks. This is compliant. They fit well on the stairs and he loves them. Elsewhere he neglects scratching posts and prefers only to scratch on cardboard stairs. I think he likes it the most because he can "feed" himself by scratching before jumping off the top step and digging his claws into my calf (so cute I know). Incidentally, this completely eliminated the scratches on the carpet. It was enough to simply offer him a more attractive option. I love that I can flip them and get twice the scrapers for the same price. I thought the wavy side would be weird but he seems to prefer it and it doesn't affect using the flat side if the wavy side is down. They're narrow enough to leave about 4 inches down the stairs, which is good because sometimes he gets a little crazy and slides down the stairs on one of them. They need a little longer than the wider ones. Final Thoughts: The included "free toyโ€ is really awesome. Ted never seems to play with toys much, but he really likes this blue fish. If they were sold individually I would buy a pack. I really thought it was going to suck but he's crazy about it.
