My purchase arrived in two days as advertised. The radio repair was completed in 30 minutes. I like the feel of the connector's heavier metal body. I also used thin solder as the material I had on hand was thicker and required extra heat/time. So I used several temporary connections to check the left and right channels, ground and mic. This was accomplished by prepping the colored wires with an emery board. Once the wire ends are a pure copper color, apply a dab of solder to them. Skip this step and you will be disappointed. Then hit the pins of the connector with a solder ball. At this point, put the shrink tubing and socket cover on the wire! Then I ran the left/right audio file through YouTube with headphones to check the left and right channel/color wire. Pre-soldered ends make final soldering easier. Slide the heat shrink tubing onto the base of the jack and cover the wires. Apply your heat and reduce it. Slide the cap up and twist to tighten. I then finished recording the audio to test the mic and played it back to test the left and right channels. Enjoy the sound.
