I received a used thermometer and it showed "Lo"; So I came here to buy batteries. The batteries arrived and the thermometer still reads "Lo" as per many other reviews. I figured it was a common battery issue (poor QA or expired) and threw it in the trash and asked for a refund. The seller said they should work like new, which confused me. There is no point in buying a battery over $3 as the battery only fits in very few places so I decided to buy a new thermometer ($5-10). ) instead of this. The thermometer description page explains everything. "Lo" means low temperature, not battery, "replace battery" uses a different indicator. Turns out I don't even need a new battery for my old thermometer. Helps explain a problem you may be having; Check the thermometer manual.
