I bought these bags for cross-country trips to save space (for context, I moved from the south to the north of the US). I'm not sure if it was due to a change in pressure or the contents of the bags, but half of my bags lost a "tight" vacuum seal and the other half didn't. I've stored all sorts of things in it, from plush/cuddly toys, sweaters and plain t-shirts, and some items have not yet been vacuumed while others have. I didn't overfill them, which would have broken the seal, so I'm not sure what happened there. In general I like them. But the size of the pockets is inconvenient. I get it - some people keep big things like blankets or quilts - but I didn't have to have huge garment bags at all. This only made packing in boxes more difficult.
