Review on 🔴 Red Lion PWJET50 0.5 HP Cast Iron Shallow Well Jet Pump - Wells up to 25 Feet - Black (97080501) by Eric Pavelko

I use this to pump from the above ground tank to the pressure tank and into our house. Works well, smoothly and fairly quietly. It is designed for pumping from a shallow well, so it is an easy task for him. The submersible pump in our 250 foot well didn't provide enough pressure and flow when pumping directly into our pressure tank, so it now maintains a full float switch controlled storage tank. And this new pump delivers plenty of water when we need it. An external 1-1/4" check valve is required on the suction side. A 1" check valve on the discharge side is not required. There are two mounting feet on the flange between the motor and the pump. I attached them to a short piece of 2x6 and put rubber feet on top. The tubes also keep it in place so there are no vibration issues. It's set for 230 volts but it's easy to switch to 115, which I did by attaching a cord and plug to it. I wanted to fit a separate pressure switch, but the one that came with it works fine. This is a clone of the Square D pressure switch and can be adjusted to a higher pressure by turning a screw. The instructions are in the envelope. I would recommend this to a friend or even a complete stranger.
