Good outdoor TV antenna. Neat look, easy to hide

This HDTV antenna kit is suitable when you want to install an outdoor TV antenna. Just remember that this is part of the job depending on where you want to place it. Some people opt for the attic, which can be a decent spot if you can run the cable there easily. I installed mine via an outdoor cable that I ran through the wall. It may take a while to get it right, but it's not a big job. However, I will not go into all of this. After tuning this antenna you will find that when changing from an indoor antenna to an outdoor antenna there is usually a noticeable positive difference in reception. At worst, it's about the same as an indoor HDTV antenna if you use it. For this reason, many years ago, before cable TV existed, some homes had a large rooftop antenna instead of an indoor antenna for the TV, or at least the main TV, and often wired cable as well. Dial, a kind of remote control for rotating the antenna. These antennas are still useful today for hooking up TV stations, the fact is some people threw those good, sturdy outdoor antennas off their roofs when cable TV became popular. If you held onto your outdoor antennas, you can still get damn good reception today. These antennas simply pick up the TV signal and the device has to decide what to do with the signal. However! Mounting options for this television antenna are possible. There are poles, some of which rotate, others find they can get enough stations without going that route, etc. This antenna comes with a pole mount as well as a flat surface base mount. At least something to start with. Personally I find this antenna to be a bit more directional than the others, but that's a compromise for its looks. I expected that. Where I wanted to place the HDTV antenna outside, a large wire antenna would really stand out a bit, so I decided to put this antenna in there and see how it works. I can always replace the antenna with something bigger, if I want I can redo it. This antenna is smaller and easier to hide, not very visible, so if I can get it to work, great. I don't do this often, but with this antenna I chose aesthetics over better reception performance. This antenna does a great job of pulling up stations, but I know if there was an uglier antenna it would do a little better. indoor antenna. I find this antenna to be a bit directional, and rather than manually rotating it from side to side I will be getting a motorized pan mount for it in the future. For now though, I'm mostly happy with it, I just know I need to tweak it a bit. At the moment it even performs better than an indoor HDTV antenna in a fixed position. A great TV antenna for the price. All the basics are included in the antenna kit to get you started. Do note, however, that if you don't already have a cable to bring it indoors it will take a bit of work, but it's not that much. do.
