As advertised - very slim profile and smooth fit. Some people complain about the pen holder being on the wrong side as it can't be charged from that side, but being on the 'tethered' side prevents it from accidentally falling out which would be more likely to happen if it were on the side would be outer edge (right side) as the front cover can be gradually folded back to serve as a stand. The pencil only takes 30 seconds on the magnet on the right to charge enough for a couple of hours of use, so putting it there when the battery runs out is no problem. I've already lost 2 pencils - one due to being transported on a loading magnet, which then gets knocked off (which doesn't require much force) and falls to the ground without realizing it, and the other due to the need to transport it separately from the iPad , in this case it is simply lost. This device's pen compartment securely holds the iPad and pen together. I have a turquoise case that I love. I just ordered a second one for a 12.9" iPad. It would be nice to have cases with different designs in the future though.
