It was a great purchase. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she couldn't wait for me to finish assembling it before she started playing with it. After I finished I put it on the balcony and she immediately played with it with my 11 year old daughter. They played for at least an hour before going back inside. This was a fairly simple build and seems sturdy and solid enough to last at least a couple of years. I would give 5 stars but the screws fixing the turret were missing, everything else was complete and in good condition. I would not recommend using it indoors as there is a large hole in the center of the tower which makes it very easy for water and/or sand to flow through and fall straight to the ground. We have it on our balcony and it's big enough to have fun with but not too big to reach from all sides. I read a review that said it holds about 2 pounds of sand so I bought a 5 pound bag. However, this didn't even fill the entire bottom layer, so I'd recommend at least 25 pounds of sand. The instructions say it holds 50 pounds but I didn't know that until I bought it. Although I'm not sure I would have invested that much. You want the kids to have room to shovel and dig without spilling everything. All in all this is a 5 star product, just wish it came with the screws needed to assemble the tower.
