I have a hard time finding a coat for my dog because he is tall, thin and long. As soon as I have found the right coat length, the circumference usually becomes too large for her. After a few years I realized that even though she is a medium sized dog, she needed clothes for smaller dogs. She has a 16" neck, 23" girth and 20" length. But it's difficult to find clothes for small dogs that are the right length. This XXL coat fits her like it was made to measure. I'm a big fan. I even ordered XXL fleece shirts for her and she loves to wear them around the house to keep warm.
