This is a great little gift that is always on hand. I bought a couple of these bracelets on sale at one of the major department stores and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The attitude toward this particular style is consistent with my beliefs, but I see others who are also inspirational but "neutral" to religion. I start shopping for next year's Christmas gifts on December 26th and I'm always on the lookout for great deals. I had a bracelet very similar to this one; My father was going through very serious heart surgery and my parents lived more than 20 hours away from me and they were adamant they did NOT want me or my siblings to travel that far but I was dying to be there and give myself some comfort. I kept thinking about my mother in the hospital waiting room and finally it occurred to me that she could wear this bracelet (like a rosary) and maybe it would give her strength and hope. I sent this to her, bought a small silver "prayer box" for my dad (wrote my prayer for him and pinned it), the items were easy and inexpensive to post, and they loved their little gifts. I found this bracelet and it may do the same or a similar service to someone else. Now this item would have to be placed in a small jewelry box, because. I noticed that it looks a bit crumpled in the cardboard box in the crumpled packaging, but when I take it out and straighten it, I see it beautifully. So if the opportunity arises, hopefully this time it's a lucky gift. Dad was an amazing surgeon, but if something like this happens in the future, I'll be in that waiting room with my family, whether I like it or not.
