Said to be a genuine Remington replacement but the blade length has been reduced. This item's photo shows a longer cutter, but the item I received was packaged slightly differently and included a shorter cutter that was about a quarter inch shorter than the original. The cutter works well with this, although it may take a little longer to cover the same area of the face than the longer original cutter. I can't imagine why the incisor was trimmed. You can't save that much money in production. Perhaps this shorter head was originally intended for a different razor, and Remington eliminated the expense of manufacturing two separate heads. You can still get a longer cutter from aftermarket dealers here at Revain. I've done this and they seem to cut just as well and keep a decent time. The saving grace here is that this is the original shaving foil. It fits snugly and should last a lot longer than aftermarket films (which I think only last about 60 days - that's for me). When I could find them, the original Remington wraps lasted me 4-5 months. They never come cheap (both genuine and non-genuine), but in terms of value for money and durability, this is the best value you can find, even considering the cutter is a bit is shorter. UPDATE: The price went from about $21 to $28. This price is too high. It was almost good value for a lower price but not now!
