I have had a trackball mouse in various configurations for many years. I recently purchased and tried this Kensington Expert Mouse Trackball. The big attraction for me when buying it was the larger ball itself. The benefit of a larger ball is more precise control of small movements. Very valuable for detailed work like mouse manipulation. The ball size is 55 mm or about 2.165 inches. Almost twice the size of a traditional trackball mouse. In my opinion it worked perfectly and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I really like the size of the ball for the reasons above. And found the scroll ring absolutely useful. However, I had a few reservations regarding my personal taste. Here they are: The overall size of the mouse platform is a bit large. I have relatively large hands, but even so, the larger size of the entire mouse felt uncomfortable. The incline angle is a bit steep for me. This angle caused my wrist to flex more, which was comfortable. The included pad extension didn't help. This made the mouse bulkier overall. As one reviewer noted, I found the button placement a bit awkward. I couldn't comfortably reach the buttons and trackball at the same time. I had to change my hand position to switch between these controls. On the plus side, I really liked the size of the ball and the scroll ring for detailed mouse work. If I took all of these ideas and made a suggestion to improve the design, that would be it. Kensington should redesign its Kensington Orbit trackball. Scroll Ring Mouse (K72337US)" with a large 55mm ball. However, Kensington should redesign to keep the overall size as close as technically possible to the smaller K72337US. Use the larger 55mm ball. Keep it Definitely the scroll ring and button layout in a product would have more appeal, functionality, usability and accuracy than the larger 55mm (2.165") ball. Overall I liked what was in the "Expert Mouse" version with a larger Trackball A more ergonomically pleasing tool that " Expert Mouse Trackball's design needs a little tweaking.
