Review on Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera Body (Kit Box) - No Lens Included, International Version with No Warranty by Ayden Loh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

The purchase has exceeded my expectations. Prior to that, I shot on the zenith and a Pentax soap dish, so I was able to learn the camera's settings and use the in-camera menu in a matter of days because to the wealth of information available online. I've been using an 18-105mm whale lens for my recent shoots, and although it has its benefits, it also has its limitations (namely, a loss of sharpness and a distinct absence of bokeh, all of which I expect to remedy soon enough).

Pros
  • Amazing value for the money. Small form factor, superb quality even at very high ISO settings, great shots even when taken straight from the camera (photos are quite normal even at ISO 1600). A well-organized and straightforward interface, together with in-camera RAW processing and numerous filters. Both the dimmer and the noise-cancelling technology are effective. The quality of the video recording is satisfactory.
Cons
  • When working under artificial lighting (whether incandescent bulbs or natural light), the camera's white balance may not be accurate. However, this is not cause for alarm because it is simple to correct in-camera or in the post-production software, and the issue goes away entirely if the white balance is set manually in advance. Slow rate of fire during bursts (3 fps). We did not use any bracketing techniques, including exposure or otherwise.
