These containers were bought for work. Although they are labeled as food containers and I'm sure they will work well, I used them for some process samples that needed to be sent to a tool maker for testing. I found them absolutely perfect and good value for what I was doing. Because they were made from HDPE, they were ideal for process samples. The samples I sent were liquid, so finding something waterproof was important. They worked great and didn't leak during shipping. The lid screws on nicely, but there's also a gasket in the lid that fits snugly against the top before the lid is screwed down. Titanium Dioxide (which makes it white instead of natural) pigment. The price is also very good and I love that you can buy them in quantities of 4. I had to ship 8 samples and Fischer Scientific wanted a minimum order of 500 for a comparable container, which wasn't very nice.
