Review on Women'S Military Combat Lace-Up Ankle Bootie With Mid-Calf Pocket For Credit Card Knife And Money – DailyShoes by Brandon Patterson

not combat boots, but fun fashion boots

Well first, let me start with I bought these on a warehouse deal really cheap. Now it was a size 9, but I actually wear size 8, however these size 9s don't really feel big, so they might run a little small, or might not, would have to see if an 8 felt to tight. Next, these are not combat boots. I was a teen in the 90s grunge time and wore many pairs of combat boots. here the pu-leather is super thin, to the point where it rolls an wrinkles and bunches a little as you move. I would say it is about as thick as denim. they almost feel more like cheap rubber pull over rain boots, except not rubber or waterproof. the laces will adjust how tight the shoe is, so it has a lot of room for say plus sized ankles or calves. the buckles dont really do anything. The pockets are roomy enough to say carry a small lipstick and thin powder compact in one, id, a couple credit cards and some cash in the other. The zipper on the pockets does not go all the way down, they are sewed shut half way. no idea why, but is that way on both.I purchased the zebra print and it is indeed bold. Honestly I have no idea when or how I will wear these, I just couldn't resist the super cheap warehouse deal and shoes with pockets. best i can come up with is when I am buying or selling on craigslist, and we pick the public place to meet, I can wear them and say "I will be the chick in the Zebra boots, trust me you can't miss them"overall, I find them comfortable, but if you want "combat boots" or even "yard boots" or "work boots" buy elsewhere, these are fashion boots, period. I honestly don't think these are worth more than $20 unless you are buying one of the more unique colors or prints, or are really in love with the storage pocket. you can buy better similar boots in black or browns at payless for $20 (minus the storage pocket). now if you are in love with the pink or the purple or the zebra, by all means pay higher, as long as you are expecting a fashion boot and not a combat boot, you will be happy and will have a hard time finding something as bold for cheaper. I might go up half a size though, because as i said, this really don't feel big even though they are a size too big
