Personally I need a perfect fit for the keyboard case to make it worthwhile so I took a chance with them and am very happy with the purchase so far. It's thinner than any other keyboard cover I've seen, and it's even more comfortable to type on than a real keyboard (I really like the feel of the keyboard and wanted a cover that doesn't take it away, but it actually has that improved ) . The lid itself is unprinted which is great as it allows the backlight feature to work properly. The edges are also perfectly aligned so you can't see the edges of the lid - great! Another issue I have is the lift - I can't stand it when the lids wear out and start lifting around certain keys, mostly on the spacebar, but there's absolutely no lift on it. It even comes with clear adhesive in a separate package in case you start to lift or move depending on your typing style and want to "stick" the cover to certain keys to prevent movement. Last but not least, and perhaps most important to me, no smudges remained on my MacBook screen after closing the lid with this lid. I've had this experience in the past and it's quite tedious to wipe the screen every few days or so. Also, you want your Retina display to be as crystal clear as possible, and that's guaranteed. And to top it off, this keyboard cover is washable too. Ideal for applications where dust and dirt accumulate over time.
