Review on πŸŽ’ Sherpani Camden Raven Laptop Backpack - Optimized Backpack for Ultimate Efficiency by Ana Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

In love with my travel agency!

OPTIONAL UPDATE: Sherpani sent me a gift certificate for a new backpack outfit (&ie=UTF8&qid=1566799814&sr=1-3&nodeID=2210531011&psd=1) and this continues the tradition of looking good and being great. Now I carry around my laptop, keyboard, TWO mice, a mouse pad, a small peripheral pouch, and a cosmetic pouch, and they all just disappear into it without distorting the pure form at all. I still want more zippered pockets on the inside, but I'm comforted by the stretchy end pockets both inside and out. Plus two outside pockets with zips. 17 MONTHS LATER: A part broke rendering the backpack strap unusable. Sherpani customer service checks if buying from Amazon means I'm under warranty or not. I'm a bit grumpy but still use it daily. If I had to carry my laptop this month I would be very pissed off. ONE YEAR LATER: I still have a passion for this piece, use it daily since my last review and it's still in great condition. I've washed it three times already. I took it for a walk last weekend and then I leaned it - this white cloth bag - in the wheel well of my husband's car. What can I say, it seemed like a good idea at the time? Anyway, I took it home, emptied it, scrubbed the stains with laundry stain remover, and ran it on the delicate cycle. A stain came out. I took it to the park today and the boy pulled his chocolate brown hands outside to help me get my iPhone. I wiped it off with a wet rag and what do you know? The spots are gone. None of the seams have come undone, none of the zippers have come loose, all zippers still work very well and the webbing is not frayed. The fabric looks like new. The ONLY, ONLY thing I would change would be maybe add some inner zip pockets. Or just zip up the ones you already have - I had to stuff them with pockets for all my stuff. But maybe they were running out of unobtanium? Who can tell? ---------------------------------------------- ---- ---------------------------------------------- ---- ------------------ I've had this bag for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. Let's get that off the table first: Yes, it's expensive. BUT. It's so well done! The short handles are intertwined. Long shoulder strap and adjustable buckle for slip resistance. The long strap doesn't twist either, it has rotating attachment points. The zippers are durable. The backpack straps are adjustable and nicely padded and tucks neatly into its own pocket which has a magnetic closure and also holds my house keys + shopping bag. There are small external open pockets at each end (not handy for a bottle but good for glasses) and two zipped pockets on the opposite side, one perfect for a small cosmetic bag/accessory, the other for keys or a key card/subway -Ticket. Inside there are multiple compartments (wallet/chequebook/napkins) and a padded open compartment big enough for my HP. I also barely fit in my computer charger and a large trackball. I like a little more organization so I got this one too: Holds tampons, iPhone charger, Fitbit charger, headset, hair accessories, pens and notepad. The white fabric does show stains but washes well and the black fabric has no problems as long as it doesn't fit into various bulky items. puts. The inner fabric is a beautiful shiny neutral stripe. Finally, one side of the bag opens with a zip, allowing the whole thing to be placed on the handle of a suitcase. I haven't let go of this item since I put my stuff in it. Maybe they have to bury me with him.
