I bought these pants as a present. The recipient reported that they are true to size... except for the length. He is a little under 5'11" and his pants were about three (3)" too long. They've shrunk a bit in length... which was good. He said they didn't seem to have lost weight otherwise. They were washed lukewarm in the washing machine and dried in the dryer. The looks are good and they're decent enough to grab and pick up a trash can on the street. When a neighbor is around, it doesn't look like the wearer of the pants is wearing pajamas. The pockets are also good for a handkerchief if someone lives in an allergy area. Oh yeah. You have a bow tie, and all the guys know what it is for and how useful it is. A word of caution. If the owner has visitors, be sure to check the bow tie. If you're not careful, sometimes there's a gaping problem. The drawstring helps personalize the waist.
