I had another set that I didn't like because 1) they didn't stick to the TV and 2) they were just two strips. Lighting from above, below and from the side. Glue is great, holds. The strips are thin and light (which is probably why they stick so well!) Lots of amazing colors (note my photos are only SOME of them!) and effects that can be toggled with the remote - color change, Fading. You can also adjust the brightness up or down. I had a TV in the bedroom and then quickly got a second TV in the living room. My ONLY downside is that the remote control is so small it's easy to lose. I lost my first remote a few months ago and now I can't find my second one. I think they probably both fell into the trash can I keep next to my futon to dispose of work papers. The remote control is so thin and small that I wouldn't even notice it there if I threw the papers in the trash. Luckily the customer service is top notch and they send me free replacements. But now it's sad because I won't have a backlight until they arrive :(! So watch out for those tiny remotes! NOTE: Make sure the little remote receiver sticks out from behind your TV or the remote won't work. It's small and black so you won't notice it while watching TV.
