They fit my picky little 5 year old very well. The ear straps are adjustable and padded. The mask touches the entire outside of his face, including his nose. The outer fabric is durable and keeps its shape. It is important. When the mask touches his mouth, he chews on it all day. Not only is this ineffective and rude, it also leads to chapped lips. These masks do not touch the lips and the top of the chin. I recommend machine washing by tying or pinning the straps together rather than removing the adjustment ring. They are hard to get back and easy to lose. After all, not a single line has come loose to this day, and I wash them in the washing machine, not by hand.
