Review on Get Fresh and Comfortable Air with VENTA LW45 Comfort Plus Airwasher - Perfect for 645 ft², White by Caryn Adams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but great. In its category.

This is a fantastic humidifier. I spent weeks buying one of these and sorting through different options: cool mist, warm mist, or soak (vape). I wanted a good vaporizer because they are better, but they are rare these days. Plus, it's annoying to have to constantly buy new wicks and watch them get dirty. With Airwasher you don't have to! Just rinse it out and wipe off the residue every few weeks and use whatever supplement they sell and you're done! I haven't found anything like that. We have the largest and most expensive (comfort plus LW45) to do most of the house. It says about 600-700 square feet, but since the air in the air conditioner is constantly moving, it seems to take up most of our 1,200 square foot home. Utility rooms are not humidified either, but that is not a problem. Still better than without. It's probably about 5-8% lower on average if it's further away from the device in backrooms, but it's still pretty darn good in my opinion considering I'm using it for more space than advertised. It works out! Right on the top it says moisture percentage and I was skeptical even though I thought I could feel the difference. So I took another hygrometer to test and in the main rooms it's the same to within a few percent depending on where you measure. I have to fill it up about once a day, it runs constantly at level 2 or 3. It is very quiet and, in addition to humidifying the air, also serves as an additional air purifier. There is no airborne spray, no white deposits on objects, or the use of distilled water. Turn on the water and you're good to go. If you shake it out to clean it, you'll see all the crap it's picking up from the air. You just need to add more additive every few weeks when you clean it as it stays in solid form at the bottom even if the water runs out. It has three levels of operation, as well as an auto mode and a sleep mode. And it will even notify you when it's time to clean it up. The company also offers a professional steam cleaning service, which you can do every six months or yearly for an additional fee. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe they seem like a solid company. And it's not sketchy Chinese shit like a lot of Revain stuff. The only problem is the price. Being mostly plastic, apart from some internals with a fan and a simple touchscreen, I can't see how this thing deserves the $400+ price tag, but it's possible that tank drives are pretty difficult to manufacture. They are very specific in design. I suspect they charge that much because no one else makes humidifiers like this and I wouldn't be surprised if the discs and design were/patented. However, it's worth buying a humidifier and a pseudo air purifier (pseudo because I don't know how it would pair with a larger volume HEPA filter) in one unit that works really well with simple maintenance. If you're worried that you won't get what you pay for, you will. If you think it's too expensive, then so be it. I know it seems like a contradiction...it is. Ha ha. Seriously, this is a great moisturizer. As long as you don't need money for the rent, but buy this, you will be happy. If you're looking for an inexpensive humidifier that actually works that doesn't throw water into the air and you've exhausted all your options but still can't find exactly what you need, look no further. . That's it. It only costs you. You get what you pay for.
