Looks like it will work well as a generic Hero 3 camera frame with BacPac on it. The only problem is that the notch on the side of the port is slightly in the wrong place, making it impossible to insert/remove the microSD card. 03/17/19 ensure the stability of the structure. To be honest this apology doesn't stand up to scrutiny - we're talking about opening 1 or 2mm more in an area with lots of support material - totally doable and it IS a product flaw for those wanting to switch memory cards without the having to take out the camera once. A NOTICE. I was able to easily enlarge the hole with a small metal file in about 5 minutes and now it works great! Retaining a 2 star rating as the resulting product has this design flaw. If you don't need access to a memory card then this is a 4 star case.
