I've always been a cheapskate when it comes to dishwashing liquid, and would buy 32-ounce bottles at stores for $0.99. Although I noticed that it's thinner and you need more, and the resulting foam isn't very impressive, I continued to buy bottles for $0.99. Performance and how little detergent is needed to produce great lather. While I find most commercials to be outright lies and exaggeration, I now understand the Dawn commercial where they cleaned a duck of crude oil. I was convinced! This really is the best cleaning product and although it costs more the small amount you need compared to cheaper products actually makes it a lot cheaper and with a superior cleaning power that is second to none. I did a test where relatively oily fries poured some Dawn and hot water into a frying pan, let sit and soak. After emptying the pan, I was surprised that all the fat had completely dissolved, just rinsing off a little with water, and it was crystal clear! It is wonderful!
