The screws are not thick enough. Check your TV's screw size and consult your hardware store
This was our third attempt at a table mount. This version had things I liked, but the screws were too thin for our TV. After learning my lesson, the first thing I checked was the size of the screw. We ended up getting a media table from Target that was wide enough for a TV.
