VA only allow cylinders to be used unless someone wants to fly, and then they ignore a request for a device like the Oxygo supplied by SSA. that my wife uses. The VA approved pocket is shaped like a sling, so while it's not as comfortable as it could be (the tank is offset), it reduces the chances of me hurting my back. They are not as long as they could be so getting the backpack on and off is difficult. I would, however, happily recommend them for a child. For an adult, consider flexibility.
