Like many other potential users of this product, I had trouble spreading cold butter on bread to keep the bread from falling apart. This knife seemed like the perfect solution, but it wasn't. It is no different from other butter knives. The jagged edges didn't help at all. The experience of buttering bread was no different than the butter knives I already have. So back to letting my butter cool to room temperature and churning it with a good old butter knife. This gadget doesn't work.
