I'm finally fed up with these stupid new ovens and their totally ignorant burners. I could NOT bring a pot of water to a boil no matter how long I held the pot up. I saw this and thought it would be better to smash the stove with a sledgehammer and get a gas stove. (I didn't want to pay for a gas appliance but I didn't care at the time. The point of the stove is to cook at the temperature I set it to, for example "high" does NOT mean bring it after twenty minutes on a low boiling point, but I digress.) I added these bad guys and bam, problem solved. Boil a pot of water, and after twelve minutes a violent boil began because of the cold. Highly recommended if like me you are frustrated with the useless new ovens with their safe burners.
