I have a problem with one of my toes and these socks keep the separated and makes it so much more comfortable. I have a pair of the toe shoes and will wear the socks with them. It makes the shoes more comfortable. But, most of the time I wear them with regular shoes. If you are looking for heavily padded socks, these are not those. They are well made. The material is not really thick, but not too thin. If you need toe socks or think they can help you like they help me, then I recommend giving them a try. If I had to complain about one thing is I wish they were just a little less expensive. That is me though. I am rough on shoes and socks no matter how they are made.
