At first I didn't like this chair. Lost a star for not being able to use the stand as everyone has mentioned it's way too small. I saw a chair on Amazon with an extra large leg rest, if that matters you should order one. My father, who has been a leader all his life, advised me to use it. He said when you sit in a chair you get used to it and no longer try to find fault, you relax with it. Well he's right. The chair is amazingly comfortable, it floats in space to and from the printer and can even slide to get a cup of coffee. The footrest turns out to be no big deal, I use an easel chair and a raised sewing table. I don't think it is necessary to have it. I normally sit cross-legged, and I would sit like this even if the handrails could be used. For me it's a natural way to sit. Find out what comes naturally to you. If you test the chair to its maximum capacity, you will likely find some flaws in all chairs.
