This speaker looks good and sounds good at medium volume. The mids are very crisp and the highs are crisp but not harsh, although they do distort a bit at higher volumes. The bass is amazing for a device of this size, but at higher volumes the device cuts off the bass noticeably. The sound button expands the sound a bit, I never turn it off and I don't know why you should, it sounds better. Changing a few EQ settings can help combat mid- and high-frequency distortion and increase the overall volume before bass suppression kicks in. Good for small spaces, not so good for open areas or large spaces. The battery life is decent, I use it a few hours a day and charge it about every 2 days. It takes some time to charge, about 5 or 6 hours after fully discharged. When the battery is low, the volume will be reduced and the orange charging indicator will light up. The rubberized surface on the top and sides is pleasant to the touch, it does not leave fingerprints, but stains remain. I like flat buttons, it fits the minimalist aesthetic. The buttons have a pleasant click when pressed and work well. NFC for touch pairing is present, but I find Bluetooth pairing just as quick and easy. There is real weight to the device which offers vibration resistance making it strong and durable, but I don't want to drop this thing. Overall I really like this speaker and the slight distortion is a bit annoying in an otherwise great sounding product.
