I wasn't sure what I was getting when I ordered them but I was looking for a pair of tennis shoes that my daughter could run and play in and that fit her perfectly. She is currently growing out of a size 12 so I ordered a size 13 and while there is room she has more than enough room to grow to them. They're not too big and don't hang around for her. The width of these shoes is perfect for your foot. What I love is that she can put them on herself and play and walk in these shoes all day. The rubber outsole on the bottom fully flexes so you can run without stomping around to break it. When they first came out I let her wear them for about an hour while she ran outside and played and when I asked her how they felt she said okay. Even after she put her to bed I asked if her feet hurt from the shoes and she said no. I mention this because the last pair of shoes will hurt your feet even after a week of trying to break them in. With these shoes, she loves these shoes and these are her play shoes.
