I ordered Tender & True Pet Nutrition Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food, 1lb to feed my two small dogs. I like to mix freeze dried dog food with regular kibble to add some interest and nutrition to their food. I've tried different brands and usually my puppies go crazy for these things. For some reason they don't like this food at all and tend to eat around it. It has a fairly strong odor but not the same as regular dog food. My dogs love the smell of meat and fish, which is usually unpleasant for me. It doesn't stink in the same sense. It smells rather musty. I am NOT saying the food I received was stale. This is exactly what this special mixture smells like. It looks fresh and has been properly sealed. Too bad my dogs don't eat it as the ingredients list seems helpful and thorough. The pouch is easy to close and that's all I can say as I can't convince my puppies that it's real food.
