Sturdy structure, very portable, easy to use.

I bought this because I don't like to take my phone with me or use the storage/battery for audio when I run or study. I listen to a lot of audio books and music and it takes up a lot of space on my phone. I've been looking for something like an old iPod shuffle, and this is a lot more. It has several functions on the apps screen, including radio (not used), e-books (not tried but intrigued), videos (not used) and voice recorder I've tried with good result: it should have a built-in microphone and it recorded my voice with pretty good playback quality. I use a 64GB Sandisk micro SD card with this unit and it works great with more audio storage than I'm likely to ever use. So far I'm very happy with the BERENNIS 16GB, the sound quality is good, bluetooth pairing is easy, bluetooth range is good. When I'm running with my phone the bluetooth signal keeps dropping, I've tested this unit on a short run and haven't noticed any signal dropouts I'm getting with my phone. I'm currently sitting about 20 feet away, with the printer in line of sight, and the signal loss is very minimal. The screen isn't very high definition, but I didn't buy it for video, so I don't care. It's bright and I can read text and navigate with ease. I have a Macbook Air, I read in another review that you can just upload files from your computer to the micro SD and insert the card into the device. I've done this and everything works. You just need to go to "Browse Folders". Screen to access the SD folder cards. It has an attractive design, fairly solid build (heavy for such a small device) with a metal body that's small enough to fit in my palm or a small pocket. I'll probably need a first aid kit so I don't lose it since it's so small.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
