This could be good for a teenager. My fingers are small to medium sized (ring size 5/6) and the thumb caps (largest size) were snug. There's a small payoff, but it's not enough; Fingertips felt tingling within 15 seconds. The sizes are S/M/L, but tend to be small/small/small. I had multiple uses in mind, but all depended on the thumb guard.
