I used these earbuds mainly with my laptop. I had to bend back the tight corner between the speaker and the back of the earhook where it was pinching my ear. After months of flexing this part, the plastic eventually tired, tore, and became unbearably onerous to wear. I had no problems with the sound quality or cable shorts. I got some water out of the sprinklers and such with no problem. Not the worst headphones I've owned, but far from the best.
