Everything on the monitor is great except for the sound. It has no bass and everything sounds high. This is very annoying. One of the main reasons I bought this monitor was that it had built in speakers and the external speakers I had previously took up too much space. I couldn't find any reviews criticizing the speakers so they would be good but no. Very high tone. The volume is also incredibly low out of the box and I had to look up how to turn the volume up and managed, although it was still a bit quiet. A little annoyed by this, but happy with the 165Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time and g-sync. Don't get it if you don't have external speakers and don't like high pitched sound.
