I am very disappointed with the print quality of this printer. Look at pictures of cats. This is a sample file located on the SD card that came with the printer. After 4 hours of typing it was getting late and I decided to go to bed rather than wait another 4 hours for it to be over. The color indicator on the printer showed that the print was only half done. I didn't want to leave the printer unattended all night so thought it would be a good way to test the automatic restart due to a power failure - a feature of this printer advertised in the description above. I turned off the printer while printing and that was it. I did not touch the printer itself. The next morning I restarted the printer by plugging it back into i. I had to preheat the bed and jet. Then I went to the "Print" menu and a new file appeared something like "recover.bin" so I selected it. The X and Y axes performed a backward movement, then returned to print and started printing. I knew immediately something was wrong when she started typing again, but I let her work. He walked another 4 hours. When it was finished, the result can be seen in the first 3 photos of the cat. The Y axis has been moved significantly forward where it should have been. This is totally unacceptable. A company can't promote it as a feature if it doesn't work 100%. I found Monoprice's tech support email address in these reviews and emailed them about this issue. In the meantime while waiting for an answer I decided to print a stand for my Logitech C270 webcam. I downloaded the STL file from Thingeverse and cut it with Cura with some tweaks as detailed by DrVax on YouTube. The result can be seen in the last three photos. It may not be clearly visible in these photos but I can assure you that when you see the real part it is clearly visible. The first problem is that the higher the pressure, the more ripple there is on the long side of the pressure, or the Y-axis outer wall were , causing a lot of shaking in the tall columns. . This jerking back and forth caused a vibration with noise that created these waves on the outsides of the print. The problem lies in the tall columns. These pillars are not rigid enough, causing them to vibrate very easily when moved back and forth along the Y axis. The higher the model, the stronger the vibration. That is also unacceptable to me. A design for such a high Z-axis should have better fixation. When I received a response from Monoprice Technical Support, I was very disappointed in their response. Turns out they didn't believe me when I told them the y-axis moved about 4mm when I plugged the machine back in. I hadn't taken any photos when I emailed them. Instead of asking me for pictures they said they had never seen it and asked if I could do it again. They also asked me to send them a copy of my Revain invoice. What does that have to do with my problem? This morning I sent them photos and said I'm not happy with the car. It's not the feature you're promoting if it doesn't work 100% of the time because it will fail once and render printing unusable. I also told them that the vibrations in the high Z mounts needed additional spacers to eliminate that vibration. It's not something you can fix in Cura or any other slicer. Overall it may be a good car but with these flaws I give it 1 star. I wasted a lot of filament on mediocre prints and the first print was useless for me due to the Y axis offset when the printer was recovering from a power outage.
