Originally bought another sofa/loveseat set that was more of a shirt-like material in a dark charcoal color (but seems very blue). It was soft and comfortable and fit well but the dark color showed dog slobber and crumbs so easily. I opted to purchase this set in a light grey color in hopes to avoid that, and also see how the textured fabric would look. I bought the large size sofa, could have probably gone with the XL, because I don't have an oversized sofa but the fit is tight and was ever so slightly more difficult to get on. The base of my couch is 80in long and the top is probably about 6in longer at the widest point. Product images say large should fit up to 96in--I just don't see how it's possible to get this to fit another 10in of sofa.That being said, now that it's on, I absolutely love it. It completely updates the look of my out of date furniture (see pillows for original pattern) and I love the color. Hopefully will not have to wash as frequ
