We only received it yesterday and put it together so will come back to update my review if our opinion changes after a few months of use . A 4 month old is currently using it. Assembly was pretty easy EXCEPT for installing the seat. The first strap was easy to put on, but it became increasingly difficult to stretch as I worked my way through to all four. I wasn't prepared for how difficult it would be! In fact, I had to ask my husband to stretch the other straps so I could thread #3 and #4 through the hole. Assembling the seat took the same amount of time as assembling all the other parts. It's very hard folks! But once it was put on I was sure how durable it would be with the baby. We also have the Fisher Price rainforest overalls so I have something to compare. The seat in this sweater is below ground but much flatter. So while our baby feet are allowed to touch the floor in the lowest position in overalls, in this one they can't touch the floor, even if it's below the floor. They have about 3-4 inches before they can touch it! I was surprised by this when we put her on the seat. However, there's nothing a little pillow underneath can't fix. The flatter seat than the FP jumpers also means they sit differently on it. They tend to lean more forward and sit (apparently a little more relaxed) in sweaters. Not sure if one is better than the other, but just an observation that I think is worth sharing. Another thing I noticed is that they seem to reach further than a jumpsuit due to the seating position. They recline a little, meaning they're further away from toys and piano keys. So here's what. I like how different things attach to the outside of the seat. The little sun is a bit lame - I wish the part that holds her was more flexible so they could reach and pull her towards you. But maybe as they get bigger they can reach for chewing or something. Also, there are no pictures showing the eye hook section. Maybe it's because it's a bit lame. They call it a 4 sided game console but in reality there are only 3 entertainment zones and this is an empty place. I love that they have eye hooks so we can attach other things in there. But I would like to know that before buying. or even when we have collected it! FYI, eye hooks are packed with hanging notes and such. I read in a review that these parts are missing. But I'm willing to bet they just didn't notice them because they didn't understand what they were. The seat itself swivels well, although obviously we have to move it around for the kids when it's time for a change. Again, something they can probably do themselves when they're a little older. Unlike the rainforest coverall, the way the padding attaches to the seat requires that we completely remove the seat to remove or put on the padding. Our kids like to do their thing in an upright position, so I can see it's quite annoying compared to the deft way FP items are hooked and zipped (if you're doing a FP sit-me- have down floor seat). , their sweater uses the same attachment method for the seat itself). Overall, I really like the bright colors and functionality of this sweater. Not all stations have things that "do" something. Some you can only look at or touch. I would like some more lights - our children love the light. Hanging music notes and duck stuff are pretty lame. Give me something textural or ringing! We were able to attach some other small dangling things instead (probably not recommended for the record) so this works fine. The kids seem to like the sweater so far. This is a good alternative to some of their other in-game items, including the FP Jumper.
